Finishing

Pressing lightly, steam-block pieces to measurements. Allow to air-dry completely before moving.

Seams

With yarn threaded on a tapestry needle, use the mattress st with 1/2 stitch seam allowance to sew side and sleeve seams, working from lower edge toward underarm for each seam.

With yarn threaded on a tapestry needle, use a whipstitch to sew lace panels to lower edge of garment body as shown below. Using horizontal grafting, join lace panels to lower edge of sleeves as shown below.

Weave in loose ends. Steam-press seams from WS to set sts and reduce bulk.
