Size: 6/8 and 10/12

The instructions for size 10/12 are written in brackets. If only one instruction is given, then this counts for both sizes.

Material

Lana Grossa quality "Evento", 65 % cotton, 35 % pure wool merino extrafine, approx. 300 (350) g turquois/grey (col 17) and "Alta Moda Alpaca", 90 % baby alpaca, 5 % pure wool merino, 5 % polyamide, a bit of grey (col 12).

Knitting needels US size 6 (4 mm).

1 crochet hook US size G/6 (4 mm).

Elastic band.

Emphasized decrease:

Right edge: edge st, K 2, K2tog.

Left edge: Slip 1, K 1, psso, K 2, edge st.

Gauge: 19 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (St st in "Evento" with size 6 needles)

TOP:

Back: CO 70 (78) sts with size 6 needles in "Evento" and work in basic patt.

At a hight of 4 cm for the side slants inc on both sides 1 x 1 sts, in every 8th row 2 x 1 sts and in the foll 6th row 1 x 1 sts (in the foll 10th R 1 x 1 sts and in every 8th row 2 x 1 sts) = 78 (86) sts.

At a hight of 14 (16) cm BO 1 x 4 sts at both sides for the armholes, then in every 2nd row dec 6 x 1 sts on both sides, work emphasized dec = 58 (66) sts.

At a hight of 30 (32) cm BO the middle 26 sts and cont work with the left back half. For the neckline slant dec at the right edge in every 2nd row 4 x 1 sts. work emphasized dec.

At a hight of 35 (37) cm BO the rem 12 (16) sts. Work the nght back half the same way.

Left front: CO 48 (52) sts with size 6 needles in "Evento" and work in basic patt, but for the cover work work the last 8 sts on the left side in moss st.

At a hight of 10 (12) cm for the armhole on the right side BO 1 x 4 sts, then in every 2nd row dec 6 x 1 sts, work emphasized dec = 38 (42) sts.

At a hight of 13 (15) cm for the neckline BO 1 x 9 sts and in every 2nd row 2 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st, in every 4th row 2 x 1 sts and in the foll 6th row 1 x 1 sts.

At a hight of 31 (33) cm BO the rem 12 (16) sts.

Right front: Like left front, but diametrically opposed.

Waistband (knitted crosswise!): CO 11 sts with size 6 needles in "Evento" and work 36 (40) cm in moss st. BO sts.

Finishing: Block parts acc to cut and moisten slightly. Put the two front parts on top of each other (covers overlap). Attach the fronts to the waist band with an elastic band at a width of approx. 18 (20) cm. incl. cover. Close seams.

From the neckline with size 6 needles in "Evento" take up approx 150 sts. On doing so take up sts from the on to of each other laying covers at the same time) and work 3 rnd in moss st. BO sts. From the armholes with size 6 needles in "Evento" take up approx. 96 sts and and work 3 rnds in moss st. BO sts.

Dress part (knitted from the top down!): Take up 138 (156) sts withsize 4 needles in "Evento" from the lower edge of the back and the waist band and work K 4, P 2 alternately. For the increase in every 11 th (12th) rnd inc M1 7 times in every left rip. = 299 (338) M, at 31 (33) cm from dress part BO sts loosely in sts rhythm.

Chain:

Chain link 1: Ch 41 in "Evento" and "Alta Moda Alpaca" = two threads, close to rnd with 1 sl st. Ch 1, work sc in every ch, close with 1 st st to rnd. Work the foll 13 chain links the same way, but each respectively around the prev chain link and the last chain link also around the first chain link.
