MAKING UP

Join top of half-sleeves and shoulders.

Work 1 row in crocheted edging along each sleeve edge, then along the fronts and neck edge. Fasten off.

Sew lower sleeve seams, and sides of crossover cardigan.

Sew holed part of press stud to WS of right front. Sew the rounded part facing the other part, on RS of left front.

Attach 3 buttons to RS of left front (see placement on diagram). To wear, slip buttons through holes of crocheted edging. Secure and weave in ends.

IT'S IN THE DETAIL

There are no buttonholes on this cardigan - instead, the three pearly buttons are fastened by simply slipping them through the lacy holes of the crochet edging. Be careful not to stretch the crochet too much when you do up the cardie.
