Check your gauge. Change hook size to obtain correct gauge.

SPECIAL STITCHES

2-dc cluster (2-dc Cl): Yarn over, insert hook in ring and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops) 2 times, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.

3-dc cluster (3-dc Cl): Yarn over, insert hook in ring and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops) 3 times, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.

MATERIALS

Yarn*:

1 ball of #098 Lamb (A)

1 ball of #132 Goldfish (B)

1 ball of #169 Sweet Pea (C)

2 balls of #103 Lullaby Pink (D)

Crochet hook*: J-10 (6 mm)

Large-eyed blunt needle*

*Lion Brand, Vanna's Choice, Baby yarn, hook, and needle were used for this project.

INSTRUCTIONS

HEXAGON (Make 53: 7 with A, 10 with B, 12 with C, and 24 with D)

Ch 6; join with sl st in first ch to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, 2-dc Cl in ring, ch 3, (3-dc Cl, ch 3) 5 times; join with sl st in first cluster—6 clusters at end of this rnd.

Rnd 2: Sl st in first ch-3 sp, ch 2, (hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc) in same ch-3 sp, ch 1, *(2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc) in next ch-3 sp, ch 1; rep from * around; join with sl st in top of beginning ch.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same st as join, sc in next hdc, (sc, ch 1, sc) in next ch-2 sp, sc in next 2 hdc, sc in next ch-1 sp, *sc in next 2 hdc, (sc, ch 1, sc) in next ch-2 sp, sc in next 2 hdc, sc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
