Left Sleeve and Yoke (beg at cuff)

I love my dpns for working in rounds, but not everyone does! Magic loop technique and circular needles could just as easily be used here.

With 3.25mm (US 3) dpns, cast on 68(68, 76, 76, 84) sts and join to work in rounds taking care not to twist cast on edge.

Round 1: k1, *p2, k2, rep from * to last 3 sts; p2, k1.

Place stitch marker on needle to indicate end of round. Rep last round 15 times.Change to 4mm (US 6) dpns.

Begin Patt

Round 1: k5(5, 1, 1, 1), (p2, k2) 2(2, 0, 0, 1) times, p2, k6, *(p2, k2) twice, p2, k6, rep from * to last 15(15, 3, 3, 7) sts p2, (k2, p2) 2(2, 0, 0, 1) times, k5(5, 1, 1, 1).

Rep last round 3 more times

Round 5: k1, M1, k4(4, 0, 0, 0), (p2, k2) 2(2, 0, 0, 1) times, p2, Cable, *(p2, k2) twice p2, Cable, rep from * to last 15(15, 3, 3, 7) sts, p2, (k2, p2) 2(2, 0, 0, 1) times, k4(4, 0, 0, 0), M1, k1. 70[70, 78, 78, 86] sts.

Last 8 rounds place patt (increased sts are to be worked into rib and cable patt). Swap to 4mm circular needle when sts no longer fit comfortably on dpns.

Keeping patt correct and twisting cable every 8 rounds, cont inc in this manner (one st each side of stitch marker) in next row and foll alt rows until there are 80(88, 96, 96, 104) sts, then in foll 4th rows until there are 128(136, 140, 144, 148) sts.
