Mitts crochet patternCold hands, warm heart. If this is you, hook up this pair of mitts to slide on over gloves, or to keep in your office drawer if typing feels a little chilly. They're easy to make, too - just combine star stitch with cuffs of double crochet.

TO MAKE UP

Fold each Mitt so that Row ends meet. Use the yarn tails to sew together the Row ends leaving Rows 8-11 open for a thumbhole. Weave in all ends.

With RS facing out align the cuff so that the centre of one long edge is in line with the seam of the mitt. Sew the central 30 sts of the cuff to Row 1 of the Mitt. Repeat with the other Mitt.

Overlap the rounded ends of the cuff so that the left is over the right side for one and the right is over the left side for the other. Place button in the centre of the Rounded end of the cuff and use Yarn B to sew button in place working through both sides of the cuff.
