Right Armhole Edging

Join with sc in the end of row 1 of Back Motif, work 33 [33, 33, 37, 37, 41, 41] sc evenly along Motif edge with 1 sc in each sc row and 3 sc in each ch sp, sl st loosely in each st around Armhole, join in first sc. Fasten off.

Left Armhole Edging

Join with sc in end of last row of Back Motif closest to Cowl, work 33 [33, 33, 37, 37, 41, 41] sc evenly along Motif edge with 1 sc in each sc row and 3 sc in each ch sp, sl st loosely in each st around Armhole, join in first sc. Fasten off. 

Gathering

Lay garment flat with front side facing, with your finger trace a vertical line from edge of each Armhole Shaping down to the bottom hem, count 5 [5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 6] sts toward back and place marker in sp between this and next st. With 36-inch piece of yarn and tapestry needle, beg at marked sp at hem, weave yarn in and out every other rnd to rnd 23, rotate 180 degrees, weave in and out alternately between same rnds back to hem. Pull ends to cinch as desired, tie to secure, trim ends. Rep on other side.

Weave in all ends vertically through sts for least visibility.
