YOU WILL NEED

Sublime Phoebe 94% extra fine merino, 6% nylon (approx 96m per 40g)

 9[10:11] x 40g balls 467 Shearling

1 pair each 7mm and 8mm needles

1 circular 7mm needle

Note: Yarn amounts given are based on average requirements and are approximate. 

TENSION

17 sts and 22 rows to 10cm over patt using 8mm needles.

Use larger or smaller needles if necessary to obtain correct tension.

BODY

First sleeve

Using 7mm needles cast on 86[90:94] sts.

Rib Row 1 (RS): K2, (p2, k2) to end.

Rib Row 2 (WS): P2, (k2, p2) to end.

Rep these 2 rows 4 times more then first row again.

Inc row: P1, m1, p1, (k2, p2) to end. 87[91:95] sts.

Change to 8mm needles.

Patt row: K2, (p2, k2) to last st, p1.

Rep this row until piece meas 30cm (12in) from cast-on edge, ending with a WS row.

Mark each end of last row with a coloured thread.

Body section

Cont in patt until piece meas 60[70:80]cm (28.25[32.25:36.5]in) from coloured threads ending with a WS row.

Mark each end of last row with a coloured thread.

Second sleeve

Cont in patt until same number of rows have been worked in patt as on First Sleeve ending with a WS row.

Change to 7mm needles.

Rib Row 1 (RS): K2, (p2, k2) to last 5 sts, p2, k2tog, k1. 86[90:94] sts.

Rib Row 2 (WS): P2, (k2, p2) to end.

Rib Row 3: K2, (p2, k2) to end.

Rep the last 2 rows 4 times more then first row again.

Cast off in rib.

BORDER

Using circular 7mm needle, pick up and k98[114:130] sts between coloured threads on one side.

Rib Row 1 (RS): P2, (k2, p2) to end.

Rib Row 2: K2, (p2, k2) to end.

Rep last 2 rows 4 times then first row again.

Cast off in rib.

Work second side to match. 

TO FINISH OFF

Join sleeve and border seams from coloured threads to cast-on/cast-off edge.
