How to make a pompom:
Start with two pieces of cardboard cut into the shape of a ring donut. The larger your donut, the bigger the pompom will be! Lay them together, then wrap yarn round and round the edges until they are completely covered and you have to feed the yam through the centre with a needle. Cut around the edge of the circles, then secure the centre by knotting yarn around it before removing the cardboard. Fluff and trim for a super-neat pompom!
